Skills and experience: You have 10+ years of experience in engineering roles, including 5+ years leading and developing engineering teams, with a demonstrated ability to build reliable, scalable platforms that enable other teams to succeed. You bring experience across several of the following areas: * Internal Developer Platforms and service catalogs (e.g. Backstage or similar frameworks) * Cloud platforms and container orchestration (AWS preferred; Kubernetes and Docker) * Infrastructure as Code and automation (Terraform or equivalent) * Software development using languages such as TypeScript, Python, Java or Go * API and microservice design in distributed systems * DevOps and DevSecOps practices across the full SDLC * Observability concepts including metrics, logs, traces, and open standards such as OpenTelemetry * CI/CD tooling and developer workflows (e.g., GitHub, Jira, Confluence, pipeline orchestration tools) * Technical documentation, including product requirements, high-level architecture and detailed design artifacts ## Description We are looking for a Platform Engineering leader to own and evolve our Internal Developer Portal (IDP) as a first-class product for developers. In this role, you will partner with Product Management to define the strategy, roadmap, and adoption of a centralized service catalog and self-service capabilities that reduce friction and cognitive load for engineering teams. You will establish clear "Golden Paths" that enable teams to build, deploy, and operate software safely and efficiently while maintaining flexibility to innovate. You will act as a key connector between platform engineering, architecture, security, and application teams-ensuring our cloud platform tooling is intuitive, scalable, and aligned with enterprise standards. Through this work, you will directly improve developer velocity, onboarding efficiency, and platform consistency across the organization. In this role, you will lead and grow a team of Platform Engineers, investing in their coaching, technical excellence, and career development.
