Core Competencies * Strong leadership and team management skills. * Data-driven decision-making ability. * Cross-departmental communication and coordination skills. * Ability to uphold quality standards under high-pressure production environments. Preferred Qualifications * 5+ years of experience in the PV module manufacturing industry. * Prior overseas business travel or work experience, with a valid U.S. visa. Physical Requirements * Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally. * Position requires sitting, standing, walking, reaching, and occasional lifting throughout the workday. * Frequent walking throughout manufacturing and warehouse environments. * Moderate to high noise environment. * Must be able to wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) while on the production floor. ## Description Responsible for the overall management of the factory's quality assurance and quality control programs, ensuring that all products and processes comply with regulatory, customer, and internal standards, and driving continuous improvement. Job Responsibilities1. Quality Management System (QMS) * Establish, implement, and continuously improve a quality management system that complies with ISO 9001 and photovoltaic industry standards. * Develop, implement, and revise QMS documentation and internal rules/regulations. * Strengthen process standardization, document control, and full production-line traceability systems. 2. Production Process Quality Control * Establish quality control plans for module manufacturing processes. * Lead in-process quality assurance and final product verification to ensure consistent achievement of module performance, reliability, and durability standards. * Manage incoming raw material quality and negotiate supplier quality standards. * Oversee defect feedback, nonconformance review, and final inspection of reworked products. 3. Quality Metrics & Continuous Improvement * Monitor and improve key quality KPIs: breakage rate, yield, first-pass yield, and customer complaint rate. * Drive root cause analysis using structured methodologies (8D, DMAIC, fishbone diagram, etc.) and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). * Lead continuous improvement projects to reduce Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ). 4. Supplier Quality Management * Collaborate with Supply Chain to qualify and monitor suppliers through audits, scorecards, and corrective action programs. * Participate in the selection and quality oversight of strategic suppliers. 5. Audits & Certifications * Lead internal audits and coordinate external audits (customer, certification bodies, regulatory inspections). * Ensure product compliance with PV module certifications such as UL, IEC, and customer-specific requirements. * Prepare for product certification renewals and surveillance audits. 6. Customer & Complaint Management * Serve as the primary quality contact for customer complaints, warranty analysis, and technical investigations. * Support customer qualification activities and manage quality-related customer communications. 7.
