 * Ability to keep secure highly sensitive information and work in a confidential environment
 * Highly organized and able to multitask
 * 2 years facility maintenance experience a plus
 * Must have reliable transportation (mileage reimbursed)

## Description

The Business Consultant position is responsible for ongoing support of Jan-Pro Franchisees in the Minneapolis - St. Paul metro area. The Business Consultant assists with the recruitment of Franchise candidates, is involved in the facilitation of our franchisee certification program, coordinates site visits and new customer orientation, ensures that their service levels are meeting standards and are in compliance with brand standards, assists in resolving customer service requests, and monitoring performance through proactive visits.

Responsibilities

 * Assist in the process of identifying new Franchise candidates that meet Jan-Pro qualifications. Contact Franchise leads, set up informational meetings, present the franchise opportunity and properly disclose candidate, as needed.
 * Support Director of Operations in the coordination and delivery of the Jan-Pro Franchisee Certification Program. In addition, provide hands on training and guidance at customer locations.
 * Offer new account opportunities to Franchisees.
 * Oversee new account start-ups, and new franchise owner first cleans.
 * Develop a beneficial business relationship with all Franchisees in assigned area.
 * Serve as a business coach and mentor to our Jan-Pro Certified Franchise Business Owners to provide the highest quality commercial cleaning in the industry.
 * Perform Brand Standard Audits to ensure Franchisees are in compliance with brand standards.
 * Quickly identify performance evaluation success or issues through 'proactive' site visits and effectively communicate to Franchisee for resolution to aid with their account retention
 * Identify additional special service opportunities to assist in increasing franchisee revenue
 * Facilitate communication between the Certified Business Owners and their customers, when needed
 * Schedule meetings with Franchisee to conduct business planning sessions
 * Work hours require a "Flex Schedule", which will include standard hours during the week of 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, but will require some evenings and weekends as directed by manager.
