Proven professional experience as a Database Administrator or in a similar IT role.

We are currently seeking a meticulous and experienced Database Administrator to join our team on a remote, part-time basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the performance, integrity, and security of our critical database systems, which are essential for supporting our clinical operations and patient care., Managing, monitoring, and maintaining company databases to ensure high levels of performance, availability, and security.
Implementing and managing robust backup, recovery, and data protection procedures, with a strong focus on patient data confidentiality.
Performing routine database maintenance, performance tuning, and query optimisation to ensure system efficiency.
Troubleshooting and resolving any database-related issues in a timely and effective manner.
Collaborating with clinical and administrative staff to understand and support their data requirements.
Assisting in the planning and implementation of database upgrades and migrations.
