If your experience looks a little different from what we've identified and you think you can bring value to the role, we'd love to learn more about you!\n ## Description As a LONG Security Service Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing various security systems, including access control, video surveillance, and intrusion alarm systems in commercial, industrial, government, and corrections environments. This role involves working independently on routine service tasks and collaborating with project teams on more complex assignments. You will provide excellent customer service, ensuring that systems are operating efficiently and effectively while addressing any technical concerns that arise. You will also mentor, coach and guide junior service technicians in a team environment.\n, To perform this job successfully, you must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The essential functions of this position include but are not limited to:\n \n \n \n * Complete daily Time & Materials (T&M) work orders, leveraging industry expertise to troubleshoot system issues and implement solutions that meet both client satisfaction and LONG Standards.\n * Accurately document completed work and submit time entries daily through the relevant software.\n * Perform routine preventative maintenance and inspections of systems, including tasks such as cleaning, replacing parts, updating software, and optimizing systems to prevent failures.
