As an IT Technician II, you will be responsible for providing advanced technical support to end-users, resolving complex issues that are escalated from other IT teams. You will collaborate with other IT teams on various tasks, such as project management, systems monitoring, security incident response, and user provisioning and deployments. This role will allow you to explore different IT functions and develop new skills and competencies. IT support: * Respond to incoming incidents and requests for end-user support with workstation hardware and software (examples: barcode scanners, monitors, label printers, error messages, PC issues, viruses, etc.), Server support and Network Support. * Provide support for on-site and remote end-users. * Document, track, and monitor incidents and requests in detail with follow-up within the Meissner ITSM platform. * Ensure ticket service level target is met through follow-up. * Follow escalation procedures to include other departments as needed, inside or outside of the IT Department. * Keep system images up to date. * Assist with new IT hardware deployment. * Maintain Cisco Telephony Systems - trouble response and user provisioning. * Support VPN client technology/connection. * Other technical support needs as required (examples: mobile devices, tablets, apps, etc.). IT Maintenance: * Establish maintenance schedules of IT assets in the maintenance software. * Organize and assists Zebra label printer maintenance * Determine computer spare parts and hardware inventory levels. * Perform computer software updates, virus, and malware cleanup. * Set up and maintain special workstation image backups. * Monitor server rooms and related equipment (routers, UPS, etc.) on both system health and environment conditions. * Perform off hours maintenance and upgrades.
