Preferred Qualifications * Experience implementing or supporting MES systems in manufacturing environments. * Experience with battery, automotive, semiconductor, electronics, or advanced manufacturing industries. * Experience with manufacturing analytics, OEE, downtime analysis, yield analysis, SPC, or traceability systems. * Experience with Power BI, Tableau, Grafana, or similar reporting tools. * Experience with Python, SQL, or software deployment projects. * Experience integrating PLC, SCADA, historian, and manufacturing data systems. * Knowledge of Industry 4.0, Industrial IoT, and Smart Manufacturing concepts. * Experience deploying software solutions in manufacturing environments is a plus. ## Description Gotion is seeking a Manufacturing Systems Engineer (MES & Data) to join our Digitalization Team in Manteno, Illinois. This role will focus on implementing, deploying, and supporting digital manufacturing solutions within our battery manufacturing operations. The engineer will work closely with software developers, manufacturing engineers, controls engineers, and production teams to deploy MES systems, production data platforms, and factory digitalization initiatives. The ideal candidate has experience with MES systems, manufacturing data, PLC integration, and production operations, and enjoys working directly on the factory floor to drive smart manufacturing initiatives.
