Physical Requirements: * Must be able to remain seated in a stationary position 50% of the time. Must also be able to alternate between sitting, standing, and walking. ## Description Reporting to the Program Manager, the Simulation Software Engineer (System Engineer) supports the Weapons Analysis Facility (WAF) at Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC) Division Newport by developing, testing, and enhancing simulation engines used in Hardware-in-the-Loop (HWIL) undersea weapon system simulators. Integrates new capabilities into the WAF simulator and ensures compliance with hard real-time system requirements.This is a contingent position expected to be located in Newport, RI.
