## About the Role

Please note: you must have at least 5+ years of experience with Golang and Java to be considered for this role., * BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent practical experience.

 * 5+ years of professional experience as a Senior Backend.
 * Expert-level proficiency in either Go and Java.
 * API Design: Proven experience with gRPC and Thrift for high-performance service communication.
 * Previous experience with Postgres.
 * Nice to have: Kafka.
 * Strong hands-on experience with Terraform for infrastructure migration and management.
 * Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
 * Excellent organizational, problem solver, and analytical abilities.
 * Outstanding communication, and interpersonal skills.
 * Initiative and drive to do great things.

## Description

* System Architecture: Design and maintain high-throughput, event-driven systems using Kafka, gRPC, and Thrift API design.
 * Cloud Efficiency & Strategy: Drive AWS cost optimization initiatives without sacrificing performance.
 * Raise the QA Bar: Address "mixed-maturity" QA environments by designing robust integration and E2E testing frameworks that empower teams to own their quality end-to-end.
 * Standardize Knowledge: Solve documentation fragmentation by establishing a unified, "docs-as-code" standard across repositories and Confluence.
