* Develop, maintain, and enhance complex software systems, including processing-intensive analytics and novel algorithm development.
 * Conduct comprehensive software design, testing, and requirements analysis.
 * Perform database engineering and manipulate extremely large data sets.
 * Lead software development teams and collaborate effectively with system and hardware engineers.
 * Utilize key technologies such as Java, AWS, Confluence, JIRA, Gitlab, and NiFi., * Develop, maintain, and enhance complex and diverse software systems based on documented requirements.
 * Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements.
 * Design, code, and modify software to add new features, correct defects, and improve performance.
 * Integrate existing software into new or modified systems and operating environments.
 * Develop or implement algorithms to meet or exceed system performance and functional standards.
 * Assist with developing and executing test procedures for software components; review and test software for adherence to design.
 * Provide specific input to system design, including hardware/software trade-offs and requirements analysis.
 * Develop software solutions by analyzing system performance, data usage, and investigating problem areas.
 * Serve as a team lead, overseeing software development teams and ensuring adherence to process constraints.
 * Design and implement complex database or data repository interfaces/queries.
 * Confer with system and hardware engineers to derive software requirements and understand project limitations.
 * Coordinate software system installation and monitor equipment functioning.
 * Implement recommendations for improving documentation and software development process standards.
