* A doctorate in Business Administration, Information Systems, Management Science, or the foreign equivalent, or a related discipline, is required at the time of hire., * A doctorate degree earned from an AACSB accredited college/school.
 * Record of prior teaching experience (in-person, online, or hybrid courses).
 * Documentation of or demonstrable interest in teaching healthcare IS or related courses.
 * Record of research accomplishments.
 * A demonstrated potential or existing record of scholarly publications related to Information Systems, Healthcare Informatics, Healthcare Administration, Healthcare Analytics or Data Analytics.

## Description

Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for a full-time, tenure track faculty position as Assistant Professor of Information Systems and Security in the Department of Information Systems and Security with a preferred start date of August 2027. This is a nine-month contracted position and is for work to be performed in the state of Georgia., * Teach courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels in areas such as data analytics, database management, software development, data mining, and related topics.

 * Service to the Department, College, and University.
 * Research and scholarship in the area of expertise.
 * The standard teaching load is 3/3. Coles College flexibly allows summer support for new faculty for up to 3 years.

Teaching assignments will be based on earned degrees and SACSCOC Faculty Credentials Guidelines., 3. Unofficial Transcripts (Official Transcripts and Official International Course-by-Course Evaluations Due Upon Hire)
