## About the Role

* Experience in modeling and simulation, computational physics, and/or multidisciplinary optimization
 * Experience with Python, MATLAB/Simulink, Julia, Fortran, and/or C++
 * Ability to work independently
 * Excellent technical communications skills
 * Good written and verbal communication skills

Desired Skills and Experience:

 * Experience with spacecraft design, manufacture, and/or operations
 * Experience with developing and scaling complex simulations in either cloud or cluster computing environments
 * Experience with orbital mechanics and trajectory optimization
 * Familiarity with STK, FreeFlyer, or similar software
 * Familiarity with industry standard software development practices.
 * Previous experience working on DoD and other USG development and deployment programs
 * Ability to hold and maintain a USG Security Clearance

Education & Work Experience:

 * Advanced degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a closely related discipline
 * +7 years relevant experience

## Description

We are seeking a Systems Architect Engineer to support solution conceptualization and development for our next generation of advanced spacecraft. The ideal candidate should be accustomed to working in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working on high-level design, planning, and definition of complex systems., * Analyze technical trade-offs of system and subsystem-level solutions and explore solution alternatives

 * Develop and maintain system models within a Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) framework
 * Participate in defining solution roadmaps and requirements
 * Provide technical leadership for spacecraft conceptual design
