## About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Full-Time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team during the night shift from 2230 to 0700. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care, particularly in settings such as long-term care, assisted living, and memory care. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in supporting the health and well-being of our residents while working collaboratively with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals., * Proficient in using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems, including Cerner and eClinicalWorks.

 * Knowledgeable in medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and basic life support techniques.
 * Experience in critical care settings such as ICU or emergency medicine is highly desirable.
 * Familiarity with long-term care practices, hospice care, geriatrics, pediatrics, and home care environments.
 * Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
 * Ability to work independently while also being an effective team player in a fast-paced environment.
 * Previous experience working with individuals with disabilities or in behavioral health settings is advantageous.

## Description

* Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.
 * Monitor and document vital signs, ensuring accurate medical records are maintained in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
 * Provide compassionate care to individuals with developmental disabilities, dementia, and Alzheimer's disease.
 * Administer medications as directed by nursing staff and assist with medical documentation and reporting.
 * Utilize equipment such as Hoyer lifts for safe patient transfers and mobility assistance.
 * Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans for residents.
 * Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents by adhering to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques.
 * Engage residents in meaningful activities that promote social interaction and enhance their quality of life.
