Team collaboration is essential, as technicians must uphold Nomad's core values, communicate effectively, and adapt to changing project requirements. The position requires a basic understanding of electronics, proficiency in Microsoft Suite, and the ability to handle physically demanding tasks in various work environments., * Basic understanding of computers and electronics, particularly multiband radios, A/V systems. * Basic soldering ability. * Proficiency in Microsoft Suite. * Ability to understand and accurately follow detailed technical instructions and diagrams. * Demonstrated strong team-oriented and responsible behaviors, contributing positively to collaborative work settings. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: * Regular use of hands and arms to manipulate, handle, feel, reach, or operate objects, tools, or controls. * Frequent standing, walking, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, sitting, and crawling. * Frequently lift/move up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds. Assistance required for anything heavier than 50 pounds. * Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus and distinguish colors. * Must have the physical stamina to work in awkward positions and stand for prolonged periods., * High school diploma or GED; further education in a technical field preferred. * 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing or IT-related setting preferred. * Must possess a valid driver's license in good standing. ## Description Technical Installation and Configuration: * Read and interpret CAD and IT Engineering Cable Pull Sheets for accurate installation. * Complete rough-ins for cable installation. * Execute cable pulls. Terminate cables appropriately. * Install data racks according to specifications. Build and install rack shelves. Install equipment, ensuring proper setup and stability. * Terminate and test data, audio, and radio cables at data rack locations, ensuring system integrity. * Perform basic soldering tasks. * Install workstation faceplates. * Per CAD drawings, install camera mounts and assist in the installation of roof hardware, including antennas and satellite systems. * Learn, understand, and perform electrical pull sheets, wiring diagrams, electrical concepts, processes, and theories of 120VAC and 12VDC. * Complete other duties as assigned.
