## About the Role

* Engineering Degree, 6+ years of experience in semiconductors/electronics industry in applications engineering, preferably in customer support roles
 * Experience with board level power supply design including:
 + Circuit design and simulation
 + PCB layout and component placement
 + Troubleshooting techniques using lab test equipment
 * Experience with multiple power supply topologies including buck, boost, buck-boost, SEPIC, and flyback
 * Experience using simulation and design tools including: LTspice, LTpowerCad, LTpowerPlanner, Cadence/Orcad, Allegro, PADS
 * Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
 * Experience in a customer facing role a plus
 * Experience with I2C, SMBus, PMBus and LTpowerPlay also a plus

## Description

* Holistic pre- and post-sales technical support for ADI's Module power products and solutions
 * Product trainings and presentations
 * Supporting customers by phone, email, and face-to-face on-site engagements
 * Product selection
 * Developing customer power system architectures
 * Schematic and layout reviews
 * Hardware design-in support, evaluation-as-needed, and technical troubleshooting
 * Writing/reviewing technical articles, application notes, and other technical materials
 * Product definition, including articulation and tradeoffs of technical requirements
 * Supporting technical aspects of Business Case reviews for new products
