## About the Role

* Associate degree or 2+ years of related IT support experience.
 * Strong customer service and communication skills.
 * Experience supporting Windows and macOS environments.
 * Familiarity with Microsoft 365 and common desktop technologies.
 * Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred

 * Associate degree in Computer Science or related field.
 * Dell certification or similar technical certifications.
 * Experience with remote support tools, AV/classroom technology, and account management systems.

## Description

Mount Mercy University is seeking a customer-focused IT Support Technician to provide frontline technology support for faculty, staff, and students. This role serves as the first point of contact for technical issues and helps maintain a positive technology experience across campus., * Provide Tier 1 support for computers, printers, classroom technology, and software.

 * Troubleshoot hardware, software, account access, and password issues.
 * Document and manage requests through the IT ticketing system.
 * Escalate complex issues to appropriate IT staff.
 * Assist with setup, maintenance, and support of university technology.
 * Deliver support in person, by phone, and remotely.
 * Collaborate with IT team members and contribute to process improvements.
 * Work occasional evenings and weekends as needed.
