## About the Role

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred)
 * 8+ years of software engineering experience
 * 3+ years of experience in a leadership or management role
 * 3+ years of experience in healthcare, pharmacy systems, or regulated environments handling PHI
 * 3+ years of experience/knowledge of software development methodologies (Agile/Scrum)
 * All Telecommuters will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group's Telecommuter Policy.

## Description

* Lead and manage software engineering teams to deliver high-quality, scalable applications supporting pharmacy operations
 * Define and execute the engineering roadmap aligned with business and regulatory requirements
 * Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations
 * Oversee application architecture, integration, and lifecycle management across enterprise systems
 * Collaborate with cross-functional teams (operations, compliance, product, vendors) to deliver solutions
 * Manage vendor and offshore resources, ensuring performance, quality, and adherence to policies
 * Drive process improvements, Agile practices, and operational efficiency within the engineering team
 * Monitor system performance, reliability, and incident response to support critical business operations
