## About the Role

* Minimum of Bachelor's Degree (BS) in Mechanical Engineering
 * Ability to read and understand design drawings with geometric dimensioning tolerances
 * CAD and 3D modeling skills (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Inventor)
 * Proficient in MS Office Suite
 * Highly motivated and teachable
 * Communication skills - strong written and verbal
 * Ability to work in the plant as well as interacting with customers and suppliers
 * Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects

## Description

· Design, develop and optimize new and existing products, or components, ensuring functionality, safety and cost effectiveness

· Create detailed engineering drawings, CAD models and prototypes

· Perform design validation and testing to verify product functionality and adherence to customer requirements

· Work with production and quality on production optimization, including consideration of design-for-manufacturing

· Some collaboration with suppliers and vendors to source materials and components, ensuring optimal product quality and cost efficiency

· Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of all design work and testing
