## About the Role

* 1-3 years of experience in Application Support, Production Support, Technical Support, or a similar role.
 * Strong working knowledge of UNIX/Linux environments and command-line tools.
 * Experience writing and troubleshooting SQL queries.
 * Basic to intermediate proficiency in Python for scripting, automation, or data analysis.
 * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
 * Experience supporting business-critical applications in a production environment.
 * Excellent communication skills and ability to interact directly with business stakeholders., * Prior experience within Financial Services, Capital Markets, Investment Banking, or a trading environment.
 * Understanding of financial products, trade lifecycle concepts, or front-office operations.
 * Familiarity with incident management and monitoring tools.
 * Exposure to market data, electronic trading, risk systems, or trade processing platforms.
 * Knowledge of scripting and automation best practices., We're seeking a motivated and detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys solving technical problems while working closely with business users. Candidates who combine strong technical skills with an interest in financial markets and trading operations will be particularly successful in this role.

## Description

This position requires the successful candidate to work on a W2 directly with FDM. We cannot accept C2C, 1099 or employment sponsorship (e.g. H1-B) for this position., * Monitor and support production applications within a fast-paced front-office trading environment.

 * Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve application, system, and data issues impacting business users.
 * Perform root cause analysis for production incidents and implement preventative measures.
 * Work closely with traders, sales teams, operations, and technology groups to resolve issues efficiently.
 * Analyze system logs, application performance metrics, and database queries to identify and resolve problems.
 * Support incident management processes, including issue tracking, escalation, and documentation.
 * Develop and maintain support scripts and automation tools to improve operational efficiency.
 * Participate in deployment activities, system upgrades, and production releases.
 * Ensure adherence to service level agreements (SLAs) and operational best practices.
 * Assist with process improvement initiatives to enhance platform stability and user experience.
