We are currently seeking a skilled, operations-driven Laboratory Project Manager to lead physical testing projects at our world-class fire testing facility in Bryan, TX. If you have a background in civil, mechanical, or physical engineering/construction environments and excel at managing client timelines, technical data, and physical operations, this is a prime opportunity to drive large-scale physical validation testing., * Industrial/Engineering Experience: Proven professional background managing technical projects within a physical testing laboratory, structural testing, construction operations, manufacturing, or commercial hardware engineering field. * Technical & Blueprint Literacy: Strong mechanical aptitude with absolute proficiency reading building blueprints, structural details, and technical engineering specifications. * Project Framework Proficiency: Confident handling physical scheduling parameters, material verification tracking, and client documentation pipelines (experience with laboratory information systems or industrial operational tools preferred). * Clear Communicator: Exceptional verbal and written interaction skills to bridge client needs with hands-on technical and building personnel. * Education: Bachelor's degree in civil, Mechanical, Structural, or Fire Protection Engineering, Construction Management, or an equivalent combination of heavy physical laboratory technical management experience. * Environment Alignment: Clear understanding and enthusiasm for working on-site inside an active, physical laboratory environment involving heavy testing machinery, building tools, and varying indoor/outdoor temperatures. Physical Requirements: * Ability to actively navigate the physical laboratory floor and assembly spaces throughout the shift. * Must be comfortable working safely within environments utilizing heavy industrial machinery, high-temperature testing furnaces, and varying thermal scales. * Must wear mandatory laboratory personal protective equipment (PPE) including safety glasses, hearing guards, and steel-toed boots as required by project configurations. ## Description The Laboratory Project Manager (Product & Fire Testing) is an active, on-site role responsible for coordinating and supervising physical product testing projects from initialization through final reporting. This position acts as the primary technical and engineering interface for commercial clients. You will manage scheduling, ensure compliance with physical laboratory setup protocols, analyze physical test progression, and direct laboratory assembly personnel. [CRITICAL NOTE: This is a 100% on-site, physical testing and engineering laboratory operations role.
