They care more about outcomes than credit and stay close to the product and the people using it. * A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent work experience. * Proficiency in Swift, with a deep understanding of iOS fundamentals and SwiftUI-driven UI architecture. * Proven track record of delivering user-facing features. You are known for shipping products and features lightning-fast. * Excellent product instincts. You first think about users rather than the best technical solution. * Bonus: + Experience with e-commerce or social products. + Familiarity with A/B testing frameworks, analytics instrumentation, or growth experimentation tooling. ## Description App Platform is Whatnot's client infrastructure team, building the consistent, reliable foundation that every product team builds on top of across iOS, Android, and web. Rather than owning a single feature surface, the team pushes technical boundaries so product pods can move fast without sacrificing quality - owning things like app stability, the Whatnot Design System, localization, core components, and the shared architecture that keeps our apps performant and consistent at scale., As an iOS Engineer on App Platform, you'll focus on the infrastructure and building blocks that feature teams rely on: architecting and maintaining core components and the design system, strengthening our networking and persistence layers, driving app stability and crash reduction, and partnering closely with product teams to make sure the "right way" to build is also the easiest way. It's a high-leverage role for someone who wants their work to compound across the entire app rather than a single feature. ## Related Videos - [SwiftUI In Production](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/134-swiftui-in-production) - [From Zero to Mobile Developer in 45 Minutes With SwiftUI](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/183-from-zero-to-mobile-developer-in-45-minutes-with-swiftui) - [Bringing the power of AI to your application.](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1010-bringing-the-power-of-ai-to-your-application) - [Enabling intelligent logistics automation: home-grown Industrial IoT platform at Austrian Post](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/2018-enabling-intelligent-logistics-automation-home-grown-industrial-iot-platform-at-austrian-post) - [It's not easy being green](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/558-it-s-not-easy-being-green) - [Using Serious Tech for a Silly Game - How to Build an MVP with Flutter](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/728-using-serious-tech-for-a-silly-game-how-to-build-an-mvp-with-flutter) ## Related Articles - [A Guide to Choosing the Right Tools for App Developers](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/391-a-guide-to-choosing-the-right-tools-for-app-developers) - [Cross Platform Mobile Development Frameworks to Use in 2025](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/404-cross-platform-mobile-development-frameworks-to-use-in-2025) - [Dev Digest 120 - Apple and peers](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/455-dev-digest-120-apple-and-peers) - [8 No-Code App Builders](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/300-8-no-code-app-builders) - [Navigating the AI Shift](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/629-navigating-the-ai-shift) - [The 8 Best Code Testing Tools](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/402-the-8-best-code-testing-tools)
