As part of a self-sufficient Scrum team, you will design, develop, and maintain high-quality backend systems, collaborate across functions, and take ownership of features end-to-end. The ideal candidate has experience working on complex systems, can onboard quickly, and operates effectively with minimal supervision., * 8+ years of Backend Software Development with strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring / Spring Boot * Experience building and maintaining complex, production-grade systems * Solid experience designing REST APIs (JAX-RS, JSON, etc.) * Working knowledge of AWS cloud services * Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases (MySQL, Oracle, MongoDB, etc.) and ORM frameworks (Hibernate, JPA) etc * Strong understanding of Data Structures, Algorithms, OOP, SOLID principles, and design patterns * Understanding of cloud architecture fundamentals such as scalability, resiliency, caching, logging, and observability * Hands-on experience with JavaScript and basic frontend concepts & frontend frameworks (Angular, React, Vue) * Strong communication and analytical skills * Self-driven, adaptable, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision * Working knowledge of Splunk (logging and monitoring), Jenkins (CI/CD), Docker and containerization * Exposure to testing frameworks like Cucumber, unit testing and TDD practices Preferred Qualifications * Experience with using AI tools (Cursor/Github Co-Pilot and prompt engineering) * Experience with CAD, 3D and 2D Geometry * Good understanding of networking and security concepts * Experience contributing to community-driven libraries/SDKs * Experience with Agile software development practices #LI-KJ2 ## Description Autodesk is seeking a highly motivated Principal Software Engineer to join our agile development team!
