This role will require a broad array of technical knowledge and troubleshooting skills to support a wide range of network equipment. This role will include responsibility for monitoring equipment spread across multiple sites and will require the ability to identify, prioritize, and resolve issues as they come up while keeping the relevant stake holders informed as needed. The qualified individual will be able to work quickly and effectively to resolve problems. They will need to be able to work both independently and as part of the NOSC team., * 3+ years of experience in a broad range of technical task assignments * IAT Level II Security Certification (Security + CE or GSEC or SSCP or CCNA-Security) * Cisco experience Preferred Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in a related field * Help Desk ticketing experience * SolarWinds experience * Juniper experience ## Description * Provides customer support, service, and technical support through analysis and problem solving. * Conduct Tier-2 analysis of customer issues, generate trouble tickets, and work to ensure timely resolution. * Document network events and proactively seek solutions to outages, etc. * Build and maintain NOSC situational awareness through change-over briefings and pass-down logs.
