Master's degree preferred. * Minimum 8 years of systems engineering and cloud architecture experience, with at least 4 years in a federal government environment. * Hands-on experience designing and managing FedRAMP-authorized hybrid cloud environments. * Strong knowledge of NIST SP 800-53, FISMA, and federal cybersecurity frameworks. * Experience with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible) and CI/CD pipeline management. * Demonstrated experience with zero-downtime deployment strategies (blue-green, canary, rolling releases). Security Clearance * Must be eligible to obtain a DHS Public Trust (ship Required) Certifications * AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Associate or Professional) OR Microsoft Azure Administrator / Solutions Architect - Highly Preferred * CISSP or CompTIA Security+ CE Preferred Qualifications * Prior DHS, USCIS, or DHS technical delivery experience. * Experience integrating AI/ML workloads into secure federal cloud environments. * Familiarity with Impact Level 4 (IL-4) / IL-5 cloud environments and air-gapped deployment scenarios. * Knowledge of Microsoft 365 GCC High environments and related security configurations. ## Description CVP is seeking a Systems Engineering Lead / Cloud Architect to provide technical leadership for hybrid cloud integration, infrastructure management, and engineering support services for the DHS.
