Master's degree preferred. * 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 5 years in a leadership or senior engineering role focused on security engineering or AI security. * Proven experience in designing, developing, and deploying AI/ML-driven security solutions (e.g., anomaly detection, predictive analytics, natural language processing for security). * Strong expertise in cloud security (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and experience with cloud-native security tools and services. * Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Go, Java, or C++. * Extensive experience with security tools and technologies (SIEM, SOAR, EDR, IDS/IPS, vulnerability scanners, etc.). * Solid understanding of cybersecurity frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001) and regulatory requirements (e.g., FINRA, SEC). * Demonstrated ability to lead and manage technical teams, including hiring, mentoring, and performance management. * Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. * Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CISSP, CCSP, AWS/Azure Security certifications) are a plus. ## Description The AVP, AI Security Tooling and Engineering will lead the strategic development, implementation, and enhancement of AI-driven security tools and engineering solutions to protect LPL Financial's assets and data.
