The Team: Upstart's Borrower Experience team is responsible for building and evolving the borrower-facing servicing experience across web, mobile, and AI-powered channels. The team focuses on reducing borrower friction, improving payment success, and enabling clear, self-serve paths for borrowers post-origination. As a Senior Mobile Engineer at Upstart, you will help design and build high-quality mobile applications using React Native. In this role, you will directly influence core servicing metrics such as Adjusted Payment Success Rate, Contact Rate, Borrower Friction/Satisfaction, and Loan Performance. You will also collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver mobile features that delight users and align with company goals.
