## About the Role

* Master's degree in Behavioral Health or related degree
 * Licensed or Registered LMHC/LCSW/LMFT in the State of Florida preferred
 * Clinical experience in crisis, behavioral, and therapeutic interventions
 * One (1) year or more working as a clinician in the addiction and recovery field
 * One (1) year or more working with adults with addictive disorders and dual diagnoses
 * One (1) year or more experience facilitating therapeutic groups
 * Experience working with Electronic Medical Records (EMR)

## Description

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the following satisfactorily; other duties may be assigned. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

 * Complete bio-psychosocial assessments with assigned patients
 * Critically assess assigned patients to provide the best continuum of care
 * Facilitate therapeutic services including process, psychoeducation and experiential group therapy
 * Conduct individual therapy sessions
 * Effectively communicate with family members regarding updates and family concerns
 * Effectively communicate with discharge to team to facilitate accurate and clinically appropriate discharge planning
 * Skilled at understanding the disease of addiction as well as recognizable client cognitions and behavior.
 * Timely and accurate completion of documentation utilizing EMR.
 * Communicate patient progress with appropriate referral sources and monitoring agencies.
 * Attend weekly treatment team meetings, weekly clinical supervision, and patient behavioral staffings
 * Utilize empirically supported theoretical orientations and behavioral interventions for creation of individualized treatment plans
 * Effectively communicate any concerns and utilize multidisciplinary team to develop strategies to modify behaviors
 * Effective use of multi-culturally competent strategies and approaches to patients in substance use population
 * Other duties as assigned
