## About the Role

* ️ Important: This is a highly technical SQL-focused role, not a traditional BI or Dashboard Development position. Approximately 70-80% of the work involves hands-on Oracle SQL and PL/SQL development against large transactional databases., 5+ years of Oracle SQL development against transactional databases
5+ years writing complex SQL queries (Joins, CTEs, Subqueries, CASE statements, Aggregate & Analytic Functions)
5+ years working with normalized relational database design and table relationships
3+ years translating business requirements into SQL solutions
3+ years developing and maintaining SQL job scheduling and automated database processes
3+ years in operational reporting and data analysis, * 3+ years of Oracle PL/SQL (Procedures, Functions, Packages, Views)

 * 5+ years of SQL troubleshooting, query optimization, and data validation
 * Experience with Tableau or other data visualization tools
 * Experience working within criminal justice or other large transactional database environments

## Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Oracle SQL Analyst to join a dynamic team supporting operational reporting, research, executive decision-making, legislative reporting, and strategic initiatives., Develop, maintain, and optimize complex Oracle SQL and PL/SQL programs
Write SQL queries from scratch against normalized Oracle transactional databases
Analyze business requirements and identify appropriate tables, relationships, joins, and business rules
Extract, validate, transform, and analyze operational data for reporting and research
Develop and maintain automated SQL jobs and recurring data refresh processes
Troubleshoot SQL scripts, automated jobs, and data quality issues
Support KPIs, operational reporting, legislative reporting, and research initiatives
Collaborate with business users and communicate analytical findings
Support Tableau dashboards and data visualization projects as needed
