If you have a passion for games and love collaborating on features that bring our players' imaginations to life, this role is for you. You will be responsible for feature development for the Live Game group. Examples include: * Plunderstorm, Legion Remix, and other unique game modes and events * Rewards systems that engage and motivate players * Character classes and combat to represent every play style * Social features that bring our global community together Our team tackles some of the most challenging and rewarding technical problems in the industry. As a gameplay engineer, you will have the autonomy, responsibility, and tools to tackle these problems head-on. We seek a creative engineer who can quickly adapt to new systems, independently learn and solve complex problems in a large code base, while collaborating with partners and integrating existing code for improvements for our players and development team. This role offers a flexible hybrid work week, with a mix of remote and on-site days. While hybrid is the standard arrangement, you're also welcome to work on-site full-time if you prefer. Our primary studio location is in Boston, MA, or Irvine, CA.
