## About the Role

* Eager to learn something new
 * Well organized, detail oriented & analytical
 * Fluent in English (verbally & written) and preferably Dutch
 * Interested in data and reporting (knowledge of Microsoft PowerBI is beneficial)
 * Following a study into the direction of: Business Analytics, Econometrics, Computer Science, Data Science
 * Willing to work at our office in De Meern

You do not need to:

 * Have experience in aviation
 * Know what iPort or iPort inSight is
 * Have experience with all the tools that are used (although this is of course beneficial)

## Description

Our operational system iPort sends data to iPort inSight daily. Data is transformed in SQL and data flows ensure it is distributed into correct customer databases. iPort inSight builds PowerBI reports based on this data. Driven by our internal roadmap and customer requests, we are looking for an enthusiastic student to help improve iPort inSight. The iPort inSight team is relatively small, you would work together with one colleague on this project. Your responsibilities will include:

 * Agreeing on improvements to be implemented
 * Maintaining and improving existing power platform workflows
 * Creating and improving reports in PowerBI
 * Implementing improvements based on internal roadmap and customer feedback
 * Preparing customer demonstrations
 * Improving KPIs by incorporating additional data coming from iPort
 * Integrating additional (external) datasets
 * Exploring strategies for tool cost efficiency

Tools used include:

 * Azure SQL Server
 * Microsoft Power Platform
 * Microsoft Power BI
