## About the Role

* Commercial experience building modern web applications using React, TypeScript and Next.js.
 * A solid understanding of frontend engineering principles, including component-based architecture, state management and responsive, accessible UI development.
 * Experience working collaboratively with Product Managers, Designers and Engineers to deliver high-quality customer experiences.
 * An interest in writing clean, maintainable code and continuously improving application performance, reliability and developer experience.
 * Familiarity with modern software development practices, including testing, Git, CI/CD and Agile delivery.
 * A proactive mindset with a genuine curiosity to learn, solve problems and continue developing as an engineer.

## Description

* Build and enhance customer-facing and internal web applications using Next.js, React, TypeScript and GraphQL, delivering features across multiple products and business areas.
 * Collaborate with Product, Design, Marketing and Backend teams to create intuitive, accessible and high-performing user experiences.
 * Contribute to our frontend platform by improving reusable components, shared libraries and engineering best practices that help teams move faster.
 * Optimise application performance, reliability and accessibility, using data, experimentation and customer feedback to continuously improve our products.
 * Participate in code reviews, testing, CI/CD and observability, helping maintain high engineering standards while learning from experienced teammates.
 * Take ownership of your work, proactively identifying opportunities to improve our applications, developer experience and ways of working., * Experience with GraphQL and observability tools such as Honeycomb or Grafana.
 * Working on customer-facing products within fintech, regulated industries or fast-growing technology businesses.
 * Contributing to shared libraries, design systems or platform tooling that helps improve engineering productivity.
