Agent guide: [/agents.md](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/agents.md). --- # Maintenance Technician - Automation & Conveyor Systems - **Company:** Enduro Technical Services of North America, Inc. - **Location:** Columbus, OH, United States - **Experience:** Experienced - **Salary:** $74,880.0 - $79,040.0 - **Contract:** Permanent contract - **Skills:** Health Information Management, Reliability Engineering, Software Troubleshooting - **Published:** July 18, 2026 - **Apply:** https://www.indeed.com/viewjob?jk=50dd09d7f5c0666a ## About the Role * 3-5+ years of industrial maintenance and/or field service equipment troubleshooting experience * Strong troubleshooting ability across mechanical and electrical systems * Experience working with conveyors, automation systems, or industrial production equipment * Ability to work independently in fast-paced industrial environments * Prior experience leading technicians, coordinating field work, or serving in a lead technician role is highly preferred * Valid driver's license and clean driving record, must be capable of safely operating company vehicles and traveling regularly throughout the Northeast region Preferred Experience * Strong machine troubleshooting experience * Hands-on experience with Destuff-it, Maxx Reach, or comparable automated unloading/induction conveyor systems (e.g., Bastian Solutions, Intelligrated, Honeywell Intelligrated, or similar OEM equipment) strongly preferred * Experience troubleshooting safety circuits, interlocks, light curtains, and e-stop systems * Experience with DC drive circuitry and motor control troubleshooting * Experience with VFDs, motors, sensors, and control systems * Distribution center, manufacturing, or automated facility experience * I/O and machine controls experience * Experience supporting Amazon, FedEx, UPS, or similar automated facilities Education / Certifications * High school diploma or GED required * Military, technical school, industrial maintenance, mechatronics, or equivalent hands-on experience preferred * OSHA 10/30 certification preferred * Forklift or aerial lift certifications are a plus, * Ability to lift up to 50 lbs * Ability to stand, kneel, climb, and work in industrial environments for extended periods * Comfortable working at heights, from ladders, lifts, and elevated platforms * Ability to work in varying industrial conditions including heat, dust, and noise ## Description Enduro is seeking a highly capable Maintenance Technician / Field Service Technician based in the southern Columbus Ohio region to support client sites. The ideal candidates will live within reasonable driving distance of the greater southern Columbus OH areas and be comfortable traveling regularly to customer facilities. This role is best suited for a technician with strong electromechanical and controls troubleshooting ability who enjoys solving problems in the field, working independently, and supporting a variety of industrial and automated material handling environments - including automated truck/container unloading systems (e.g., Destuff-it, Maxx Reach) and conveyor and sortation equipment. This role may also serve as a lead technician during larger maintenance, shutdown, installation, or repair projects involving additional Enduro technicians or subcontract support. Candidates with backgrounds in the following environments are strongly encouraged to apply: * Industrial maintenance * Military equipment maintenance * Conveyor systems, automation and controls * Automated unloading / induction systems (Destuff-it, Maxx Reach, or similar) * Manufacturing maintenance / distribution / fulfillment centers * Field service or OEM support roles involving electrical and mechanical troubleshooting of industrial machinery and equipment Equipment You'll Support This role places a strong emphasis on the controls and electromechanical systems behind high-throughput automated unloading and conveyance - including: * Destuff-it automated container/truck unloading systems - controls, sensors, and mechanical troubleshooting * Maxx Reach extendable conveyor and unloading systems - electrical, hydraulic, and controls repair * Telescoping and extendable belt/roller conveyors * Sortation, induction, and high-speed conveyor systems * PLC-controlled automation, HMIs, VFDs, sensors, and motor controls supporting the above * Safety circuits, interlocks, and e-stop systems on automated unloading and conveyor lines * DC drive circuitry and motor control troubleshooting Prior hands-on experience with Destuff-it, Maxx Reach, or comparable automated unloading/induction equipment is a strong plus - not required - for candidates with solid controls troubleshooting backgrounds.
