## About the Role

* 1-3 years running social media for a brand, agency, or business.
 * Demonstrated ability to shoot and edit short-form video and photos.
 * Strong writing - short, clear, and with a point of view.
 * Comfortable working independently and managing your own schedule.
 * Reliable internet and your own equipment (phone/camera, computer, editing software).

Nice To Have

 * Experience with pet, outdoor or consumer products brands.
 * Familiarity with paid social (Meta Ads Manager)
 * Basic Graphic Design
 * Experience with influencer or affiliate programs

## Description

Build and maintain a content calendar across social media channels.

 - Create and edit short-form video and photo content - sourced from user submissions, product footage, and your own ideas.

 - Write captions in SteelDog's voice: practical and a little wry.

 - Respond to comments and DMs, and flag customer service issues.

 - Source and coordinate user-generated content from customers and pet owners.

 - Track performance and report monthly on what worked, what didn't, and what you'd try next.

 - Keep an eye on trends and competitors, and bring ideas.
