This is a hands-on leadership role that combines management responsibilities with technical expertise in automation programming, networking, and system integration., Leadership & Management * Lead, mentor, and develop a team of programmers and technical specialists. * Manage department workload, project assignments, and resource planning. * Conduct performance reviews, coaching sessions, and technical training. * Establish and enforce programming standards, documentation requirements, and quality control processes. * Collaborate with Project Managers, Engineering, Field Services, and Service departments to ensure project success. * Assist with recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding programming staff. Technical Responsibilities * Manage deployment of Crestron and Savant control system programs. * Oversee programming standards for residential automation systems. * Support advanced integration of lighting, shading, HVAC, security, surveillance, and AV systems. * Program and commission Lutron HomeWorks, RadioRA, and motorized shading systems. * Troubleshoot complex system issues remotely and onsite when necessary. * Review project documentation and ensure programming requirements are clearly defined.
