**Published:** July 18, 2026 - **Apply:** https://weworkremotely.com/ ## About the Role * Minimum 2 years of experience as a full stack engineer * Demonstrable commercial experience with Python * Minimum 2 years of experience with one of the following: React, Vue, or Angular * Hands on experience with Django or other Python web frameworks * Experience working with RDBMS and SQL * Experience with UNIX based operating systems * Experience with Cloud Services, preferably AWS * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Excellent attention to detail * Excellent problem solving skills * Ability to produce work of a high standard with minimal supervisions * Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt in line with or ahead of external changes Preferred * Prior tech startup experience in a high-growth and ambitious environment is preferred ## Description As an Intermediate Full Stack Engineer you will be responsible for initiating, building and maintaining all aspects of our bespoke software platforms, including but not limited to: * Our student portal * Our mentor portals * Our placements portal * Our website and payment gateways * Our sign up flows * Our data analysis platforms * Our tech stack consists primarily of Python, Django, AWS (EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda, SQS, SNS, CloudWatch, Route53), Postgres, and Ubuntu. * To excel in this role, you should be a creative problem solver, be enthusiastic about learning and growing your technical skills, display keen attention to detail and high standards in code quality., * Design and write high quality code for our website and platforms using Python and Django. * Collaborate with other members of the team to execute engineering projects, plan sprint cycles, undertake technical troubleshooting, and reduce technical debt. * Share knowledge freely with other members on the team and take guidance from senior engineers. * Work closely with Product to help in planning, designing and creating the technical implementation of features which will be used by tens of thousands of people around the world. * Refactor and improve legacy code as areas of requirements volatility are found and bug hotspots are uncovered. * Communicate with technical people through clean code, precise technical documentation and well commented MR's and with non-technical people by creating work breakdowns, test plans and clear comments ## Related Videos -
