This contract position focuses on standing up a net-new IBM Aspera environment, designing target-state transfer configurations, and seamlessly integrating legacy customer data transfer pipelines. The architect collaborates with cross-functional product, infrastructure, and platform teams to govern migration readiness, author runbooks, and validate end-to-end connectivity., Architecture & Environment Design * Lead design and setup activities for a net-new IBM Aspera environment to support a newly separated application and infrastructure landscape. * Assess legacy data transfer workflows, user access controls, endpoint connections, storage dependencies, and configuration parameters to map migration requirements. * Define target-state Aspera configurations, establishing modern transfer workflows, robust access models, environmental dependencies, and secure integration touchpoints. Migration Execution & Technical Planning * Plan, coordinate, and execute the migration or recreation of legacy file transfer configurations, content routing processes, and supporting directories into the new Aspera instance. * Develop detailed migration procedures, implementation runbooks, validation steps, cutover checklists, and operational handoff documentation. * Support comprehensive testing and system readiness validation to confirm all transfer workflows, permissions, and network connectivity function as expected.
