## About the Role

Psych Health Associates is seeking an experienced and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our growing team. This is a fully remote position supporting providers and patients across the post-acute care continuum. The ideal candidate is highly organized, tech-savvy, customer service-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced virtual healthcare environment., * Minimum of 1 year of experience in a medical office or healthcare setting required

 * Strong customer service and communication skills
 * Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities
 * Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
 * Proficiency with EMR systems and Microsoft Office applications
 * High attention to detail and strong organizational skills, * Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
 * BLS Certification
 * Experience obtaining and documenting vital signs
 * Previous experience with EMR systems

## Description

As a Remote Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting providers, coordinating patient care, and ensuring efficient daily operations. Responsibilities include:

 * Coordinate patient care and provider communication
 * Manage provider schedules and appointment coordination
 * Serve as a liaison between hospitals, providers, and primary care offices
 * Communicate with patients, providers, and healthcare facilities
 * Answer incoming calls and respond to inquiries professionally
 * Review patient charts and maintain accurate documentation
 * Enter and update patient information within EMR systems
 * Process orders, including faxing and mailing as needed
 * Generate and review billing and operational reports
 * Collaborate closely with the Operations Team to support quality patient care
