Basic knowledge of Linux bash commands. Open-source embedded Linux (e.g. Yocto) development. AMD Xilinx Vivado, Vitis and Petalinux development tools. Version control: Git This job description/job posting is not all inclusive and other duties may be assigned. ## Description SummaryThe Electrical Engineer II role is an experienced level position performing routine to moderately complex engineering functions on assigned projects or sub-projects of a general nature by applying, standard mathematical, physical science, and/or engineering technologies., Design, develop, and maintain firmware and software for embedded systems, including programmable logic devices (FPGA), and microcontrollers. Develop test plans, write and execute test benches, analyze results, perform static timing analysis, apply constraints, debug and correct errors, to prove in logic designs. Document code, test procedures, and integration guidelines. Work with customers to understand, clarify and document requirements for embedded systems within a larger automated test system. Designs product and acceptance equipment; develops measurement methods, acquires, and designates tooling, cables, laboratory and other equipment to support product acceptance. Develops test procedures and performs routine to moderately complex engineering evaluation tests, product and process capability studies, quality audits, product or project data reviews, and other engineering evaluation work to assure product manufacturability. Conducts audits, analyzes processes, products, and inspection records to anticipate, identify, and correct problems and to establish quality levels and trends.
