The ideal candidate will assist in delivering a superior customer experience. This position does not have any direct reports. The incumbent will be responsible for implementing and operating VoIP and telephony services. The incumbent in this role will be responsible for quickly understanding and operating on these platforms, using existing documentation and independent discovery of the environments, as needed. Principal Duties and Responsibilities: * Serve as a primary escalation contact for Voice Network Operations Center (VNOC) * Operate Asterisk PBX, call management systems, and IVRs located in diverse geographic regions * Provide expertise in VoIP-based technologies primarily focused on delivering carrier services to hospitality and retail environments * Perform design work that incorporates industry best practices for hospitality and enterprise customers * Function as a technical lead for projects requiring VoIP technologies * Coordinate proper installation, configuration, and testing of VoIP components * Create and maintain documentation to support the implementation and management of VoIP technologies * Collaborate with engineering function to ensure that designs are in line with the needs of the current and future requirements from our customers, network platforms, and security compliance * Engage and manage external vendors as appropriate to enhance the team's capabilities * Other duties and responsibilities, as assigned * This position participates in an on-call rotation and may provide support off hours as required * This position may require up to 20% travel ## Related Videos - [JavaScript?
