This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with a strong Linux foundation, solid scripting aptitude, and an interest in growing into automation, reliability engineering, and infrastructure-as-code. You'll work with experienced engineers to support the systems that keep our production environment running, while gaining room to learn, grow, and take on more responsibility over time., + 2+ years of experience working with Linux operating systems, ideally Red Hat 8+, including a conceptual understanding of core infrastructure components such as storage, backup, and monitoring (deep expertise not required - solid fundamentals are). + Understanding of virtualization concepts, such as VMware or similar platforms. + Strong Python programming skills, with the ability to develop scripts and infrastructure-as-code. + Familiarity with web UI concepts and making/consuming API calls. + Ability to write Ansible playbooks for configuration management. + Understanding of GitHub and its automation capabilities. + Strong written and verbal communication skills. + A collaborative, team-first mindset and the interpersonal skills to work effectively across a group.
