## About the Role

* Experience in cloud engineering, preferably AWS.
 * Experience with IaC tools such as Terraform and Argo CD
 * Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as GitLab
 * Understanding of networking concepts like VPN, VPCs, DNS, and load balancing
 * Basic scripting skills in languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell
 * Active Secret clearance
 * Must be willing to go onsite 2-3x/week in Arlington

## Description

AWS Cloud Engineer will deploy, configure, and operate OpenFGA infrastructure on AWS EKS, ensuring high availability, security, and performance. Responsibilities:

 * Deploy and configure OpenFGA on AWS EKS cluster
 * Design and implement infrastructure-as-code (Terraform / Argo CD)
 * Configure networking, load balancing, and service mesh
 * Ensure security compliance (IAM, security groups, encryption, network policies)
 * Manage database infrastructure for OpenFGA (RDS/Aurora)
 * Implement backup and disaster recovery procedures
 * Optimize resource utilization and costs
 * Participate in on-call rotation for infrastructure support
 * Document infrastructure architecture and runbooks
