+ Three (3) years of professional work experience in Technology or related field

 + Two (2) years of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript experience

 + One (1) year of React experience

 + Experience building websites with WordPress

 + Familiarity with PHP

 + Familiarity with AI-powered development tools, + Bachelor's Degree, or Associate's Degree plus 6+ years of Technology related experience, or High School Degree/GED plus 12+ years of Technology related experience

 + Three (3) + years of HTML, CSS and JavaScript experience

 + Two (2) + years of experience working with React

 + Experience building websites with WordPress as a headless CMS

 + Experience maintaining PHP code

 + Practical experience using AI-powered solutions to streamline development processes or deliver innovative features

## Description

This is your chance to be a part of an in-house Technology team that's creating consumer-facing, cutting-edge technologies revolutionizing the hospitality industry around the world! As a Senior Software Engineer, you will bring your technical skills to a hospitality company with an award-winning culture. On the Web-Software Engineering Team reporting to the Senior Manager, you will support projects including Hilton.com and different customer-facing applications.

What you'll do during a typical day:

 + Develop and deliver front-end assets for Hilton's websites, including component development, writing unit tests and bug fixes, and keeping compliance with web accessibility and platform standards.

 + Follow the defined Agile framework delivering industry-leading front-end web solutions with premier quality and performance.

 + Accept and demonstrate the core principles of front-end development practices and ensure these principles are followed throughout the team.

How you'll collaborate with others:

 + Collaborate with architects, product owners, delivery managers, quality engineers, designers, and other developers to design and implement the Hilton web application experience.

 + Participate in Agile ceremonies including grooming sessions, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and code reviews.

Deliverables you'll take ownership of:

 + Clean, maintainable, and well-documented code for UI components along with contribution to reusable code libraries.

 + Unit tests and end-to-end tests ensuring the test coverage meets minimum criteria and also mimics user behavior.
