## About the Role

+ Bachelor's Degree with at least 4 years of relevant experience, or Master's Degree with 2 years of relevant experience in wind, automotive, or aviation.

 + Candidates who apply for this position must be willing to work in a hybrid model, requiring in-office presence Monday through Thursday in the Greenville office, with the option to work remotely on Friday.

## Description

As part of GE Vernova Wind Engineering, the Blade subsystem team has responsibility for the design and support of wind blade components and systems. In this role on the Blade Integration & Management team you will work with experts in composite wind blade design, as well as support cross-functional teams in manufacturing and fleet support., + Align with Systems Engineering & Product Line colleagues to define product requirements and communicate to cross-functional teams.

 + Coordinate with Materials, Component, and Structural Design Engineering teams to develop Design FMEA; own review & approval with Chief Engineer.

 + Develop and manage risk mitigation through product validation plan; including full-scale test blade & uptower prototype blades.

 + Align with transportation, installation, and fleet services teams to ensure risk mitigation for full life-cycle.

 + Ensure design reviews are in accordance with GE Vernova Wind Engineering best practices.

 + Maintain blade design load envelope and coordinate with Systems Loads team for changes to load configurations.

 + Ensure lessons learned and safety/quality improvements are integrated into the design process.

 + Support blade factory & field quality issue resolution.

 + Own technology implementation into NPI blade design.

 + Provide technical underwriting on new blade designs and design changes.
