## About the Role

+ Bachelor's Degree and 2+ years of experience with operation and maintenance of BAS, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building systems OR advanced degree

 + Experience with BAS design, installation, commissioning, and training

 + Excellent mechanical system knowledge (HVAC, electrical, plumbing systems)

Nice to Have

 + Tridium/Niagara BAS Certification

 + Fluent in English and Spanish

 + Experience with BAS hardware/systems (Tridium Niagara, Honeywell, and/or Distech)

 + Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)

 + EPA refrigeration "universal certification"

 + Ability to read and understand blueprints, shop drawings, and schematics

 + Self-motivated

 + Experience with integrated building solutions including temperature control, critical environment monitoring, power management and alarming, zoned lighting control and facility access control

 + Experience with automation protocols including Modbus, BACnet, and LonWorks

For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.

## Description

+ Review/mark-up drawings, specifications, and equipment/system designs for BAS projects at Medtronic sites

 + Manage and/or provide oversight on small to moderately sized BAS-related projects or milestones within larger projects, from concept through execution

 + Manage financial aspects of BAS projects/initiatives including drafting and submitting RFP/bid documents, creating/tracking purchase orders, and capital expenditure requests

 + Create, review, and execute project commissioning documents

 + Lead continuous improvement of, adherence to, and modifications of Medtronic BAS Standards and SOP's

 + Independently sets objectives aimed at completing assigned tasks/projects

 + Lead/manage contractors performing installation and programming on any/all BAS components

 + Perform inspection and testing of pneumatic, electric, electronic, and digital control equipment.

 + Provide training and support to Maintenance/Facility Staff on BAS operations

 + Work in controlled cleanroom environments, following all applicable SOPs and guidelines

 + Participate in long-term BAS strategy and contingency planning. Identify/implement new technology as well as actively monitor/mitigate risks related to equipment end-of-life.

 + Provide support during off-hours, both onsite and remote as needed.

 + Adhere to operational policies, procedures, and safety requirements

 + ·Perform additional duties as requested

 + Document work performed, root cause, and resolutions in a CMMS
