## About the Role

* Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
 * 5+ years of experience with supporting ETL platforms/processes
 * 2+ years of experience supporting IBM DataStage as an administrator
 * 2+ years of Software Development experience, preferably in ETL job development

Preferred Qualifications:

 * Experience with PL/SQL scripting, PowerShell, Python, or Bash Scripting
 * Experience developing and maintain role-based user access processes (RBAC)
 * Knowledge of Data Warehouses, ETL architecture and best practices
 * Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
 * Strong data analytical skills
 * Experience with Unix/Linux based file systems
 * Experience troubleshooting and updating ODBC/JDBC drivers
 * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple priorities and effectively prioritize them
 * Experience working in a consumer-centric company, partnering with teams of technical professionals in a cross-functional environment
 * Strong interpersonal and written communication skills
 * Experience with GIT repository
 * Experience with ServiceNow
 * Experience in Financial Services or another regulated industry

## Description

* Proactive monitoring of DataStage performance and storage utilization
 * Assist Development teams on new project creation, file directory setup, access provisioning and firewall rule creation
 * Consult with Development on job performance, including consulting on database and file system performance
 * Provision user and system access to ensure the least required privilege and separation of duties
 * Ensure our environments are current and updated by applying system upgrades, certificate updates and ensuring system patches are applied as expected
 * Support CI/CD job promotion process across environments
 * Partner with IBM Support team to troubleshoot issues and apply updates
 * Collaborate with development teams to implement best practices for job development, testing, and deployment.
 * Enhance security practices and ensure compliance with enterprise technology standards and regulatory expectations.
 * Identify improvement and automation opportunities for our internal processes and procedures
 * Author and maintain internal documentation
 * Provide operational support for system access and platform availability, including on-call rotation outside of standard business hours
