## About the Role

* Proficient with Linux, including hands-on experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL ) .
 * Minimum of three (3) years of recent Linux system administration experience (within the last 3 years).
 * Experience patching and upgrading Linux servers and networking resources.
 * Virtualization/VM experience.
 * COMPTIA Security+ certification.

 * Ten (10) years experience as a Systems Administrator in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.

 * Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required.

 * Five (5) years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's degree.

Desired:

 * Dell and HPE Linux servers; Juniper and Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls; Palo Alto firewalls; Ansible; Nutanix - VM management; Rubrik - data storage; Nomad containers; SALT scripts; LibreNMS; NetBox.
 * CSP (Cloud Service Provider) - AWS and/or Azure.

## Description

CACI is seeking a to perform system administration functions in support of a critical mission based in . This role provides the opportunity to support enterprise infrastructure, enhance system reliability, and contribute to secure, mission focused operations.  * Perform day-to-day Linux system administration tasks across enterprise environments.
 * Deploy, configure, secure, and maintain Linux servers and associated services.
 * Monitor, patch, and upgrade Linux servers and network-connected resources (routers, switches, firewalls).
 * Maintain and upgrade virtualized environments, including VMs and underlying hardware resources.
 * Implement and support security compliance controls and document non-applicable items as required.
 * Assist with installation, configuration, and integration of new or replacement Linux-based hardware and software.
 * Integrate hardware/software solutions into existing network infrastructure.
 * Support the decommissioning and removal of outdated or replaced systems.
 * Maintain accurate documentation of system inventory changes and configuration updates.
