That's the standard. Every ticket. Every day. You'll also: * Troubleshoot common hardware, software, account, and connectivity issues * Perform on-site workstation repair, including hardware and software remediation * Manage the user account lifecycle while keeping permissions accurate * Assist with technology asset organization, inventory tracking, and lifecycle management * Document every ticket clearly, accurately, and promptly * Use good judgment to know when an issue needs to be escalated YOU'LL THRIVE HERE IF: You're not looking for easy. You're looking for right. You show up on time because that's what professionals do. You pay attention because the details matter. When something's broken, it bothers you until it's actually fixed - not patched, not passed off. You don't need someone standing over your shoulder to figure it out; you dig in, because leaving someone stuck pisses you off. You don't just want to be good at this. You want to be the person your team relies on. The one who doesn't drop the ball. The one who makes everyone else's job easier because you handled your part right. This is a landing pad, not a parking lot. People who excel here don't stay stuck; they grow into more senior IT roles, systems and network positions, and other parts of the business as they demonstrate judgment and initiative. ## Related Videos - [Don’t shoot yourself in the foot.](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/580-don-t-shoot-yourself-in-the-foot) - [Enabling intelligent logistics automation: home-grown Industrial IoT platform at Austrian Post](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/2018-enabling-intelligent-logistics-automation-home-grown-industrial-iot-platform-at-austrian-post) - [What makes Cybersecurity different for critical infrastructure?](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/571-what-makes-cybersecurity-different-for-critical-infrastructure) - [It's not easy being green](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/558-it-s-not-easy-being-green) - [Opening Keynote: Civic Coding, A Framework for Democratic Tech](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/963-opening-keynote-civic-coding-a-framework-for-democratic-tech) ## Related Articles - [System change: restart as developer?](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/39-system-change-restart-as-developer) - [How should you format your IT resume?](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/68-how-should-you-format-your-it-resume) - [Should senior developers refuse interview coding challenges?](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/29-should-senior-developers-refuse-interview-coding-challenges) - [7 Important Tips That Every Software Developer Should Know](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/101-7-important-tips-that-every-software-developer-should-know) - [The Most Popular IT Jobs on the Market](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/376-the-most-popular-it-jobs-on-the-market) - [Best Paying Jobs in Technology](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/256-best-paying-jobs-in-technology)
