## About the Role

* 1+ years of experience in IT support or a similar technical role
 * Strong working knowledge of Windows 11 and Windows Server environments
 * Familiarity with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy
 * Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, VPNs, switches, routers)
 * Excellent problem-solving and customer service skills
 * Valid driver's license and ability to travel to client sites

Preferred:

 * CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft certification
 * Experience with Microsoft 365 administration
 * Familiarity with remote support tools and PSA/RMM platforms
 * PowerShell scripting experience

Physical Requirements

 * Ability to lift and move computer equipment up to 50 lbs
 * Reliable transportation for on-site client visits

## Description

The IT Technician is responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving hardware, software, and network issues for Windows-based computers and servers. This role provides on-site and remote technical support to clients, ensuring systems remain secure, reliable, and operating at peak performance., * Diagnose and repair Windows desktops, laptops, and servers (Windows Server 2016/2019/2022/2025)

 * Perform routine maintenance including updates, patching, and system health checks
 * Troubleshoot network connectivity, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365 issues
 * Respond to support tickets and provide timely resolution to end-user issues
 * Install, configure, and deploy hardware, software, and peripherals
 * Document all service activity, solutions, and client interactions in the ticketing and documentation systems
 * Assist with onboarding/offboarding of users and devices
 * Support cybersecurity best practices including endpoint protection and patch management
