What will you be doing? As Master Data Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing master data management (MDM) strategies to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability across the organization. You will work to define data standards, enforce data governance policies and resolve data-related issues and will act as the data quality and consistency guardian and will lead in master data related projects. Some of the important topics that are on your agenda; * Develop and implement MDM strategies This includes designing processes, defining data standards, and selecting appropriate technologies to manage master data * Ensure data quality, accuracy, consistency and resolve data-related issues. This involves validating data, identifying and troubleshoot and resolving inconsistencies, and investigate data quality problems, and promoting data governance practices, establish data standard and ensuring data alignment across different systems and departments and stakeholders. * Liaise with stakeholders * This involves collaborating with business units, IT teams, and other relevant departments to ensure that data management practices are aligned with business needs and objectives * Train and support teams * This may involve providing guidance and training on proper data management practices and procedures * Build and contribute to data governance policies * This includes participating in the development and implementation of data governance policies and procedures * Lead in data projects * This may involve leading data transformation projects, new tool implementations, and other initiatives related to data management.
