Write, edit, and proofread technical information and data. * Familiarity with learning theory, psychology of learning, educational psychology: Study of learning theories as they relate to the systematic design, development, and validation of instructional material. * Analyze documents to maintain continuity of style. * Ability to effectively support multiple projects. * Proficient with Office 365. * Ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense (DOD) Security Clearance. Preferred Skills (Not Required): * Familiarity with the DoD research community players, processes and procedures (e.g., the military services and competitive BAA processes). * Familiarity with Authoring Instructional Materials (AIM) Content Planning Module (CPM) /Learning Object Module (LOM). * Active duty military experience or familiarity with military training is preferred. * Experience writing software code (as a means to better communicate with engineers as part of your project teams.) * Familiarity with computers in education and training: Study of the application of computers in education and training, including selecting appropriate computer software. * Experience supporting independent or academic research. * Experience with AIM CPM/LOM. Physical Requirements: * Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. * Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times. Clearance Requirements Some positions will require access to U.S. National Security information. Positions that require this access will be required to receive and maintain a U.S. government personnel security clearance (PCL). In order to qualify for this position, the candidate must be a US Citizen and either currently possess this National Security eligibility or be able to complete the investigation application process with a favorable determination and maintain that eligibility throughout their employment.
